With the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow only two weeks away, I want to shine a light on something truly special , the incredible success of Pacific weightlifting.  I spent some time looking back through the medal records since 1930, and the finding are extraordinary.  Weightlifting has earned more medals for the Pacific than every other sport put together. When you look at the attached chart, you’ll see just how strongly weightlifting stands above the rest at Commonwealth Games level.  It’s a powerful and inspiring result.
