As you are fully aware, on the 25th March, starting at 1.30pm, the Pacific Elite International Weightlifting tournament will be held at the Victorian Weightlifting Stadium in Hawthorn.

Greetings from Dromana. It has been 30 years since I organised my last weightlifting event in Melbourne – which was the 1993 World Championships. As you know since then, I have spent over 27 years in the Pacific.

After seven months of competition, the Premiers League and the League A tournaments have come to an end.

At a Special Congress of the International Weightlifting Federation held in Bogota Colombia this week, the IWF inducted Australian Weightlifting Federations Life Member Paul Coffa MBE into the IWF Hall of Fame.
