Attached please find some news on the 2019 Oceania and Commonwealth Weightlifting Championships which will be run in conjunction with the 2019 Pacific Games to be held in Samoa from July 9^th to July 14^th .

The Arafura Games Weightlifting Championships is an individual event. The AWF will not be selecting or funding an Australian Team to the Arafura Games. All AWF members who meet the eligibility requirements and minimum qualification standards (MQS) contained within the Arafura Games Regulations can enter.

I am delighted to send you the final report of this years OTIP program which concluded last weekend.   This years results surpassed even our expectations.  And the students who attended the training camp were also of high calibre.

Attached please find the 2019  OWF Calendar of events  and also the OWF new senior, Junior and Youth record standards.

As we all know,  from the 1^st November 2018,  the IWF established new bodyweight categories.  (10 men and 10 women)   

Therefore I thought that I would bring out the final rankings in the old bodyweight categories from January 1^st to 31^st October,  2018.  This now will become part of history. 

The OWF wishes to thank everyone associated with the OTIP and now looks forward to welcome those students who will be attending the OTIP training camp in New Caledonia in December.
